I fell in love with sewing as a child and have been creating ever since. My aim for Holmemade is to design beautiful and original pieces to bring people pleasure. I only work with high quality fabrics, whether it's pretty florals, cute ginghams or fun polka dots, as I want all my pieces to be treasured for years to come. I'm known for my eye for detail, combining fabric in different colours, patterns & textures to create quirky and individual home decor & gifts in a range of gorgeous palettes. The local countryside is a constant source of inspiration for my work, which often features flowers, trees and animals, and has a contemporary country style.

Recently I have extended my product range to include mindful sewing craft kits. In today’s world I think we all crave a little peace, an oasis of calm where we can truly relax. The practice of Mindfulness is all about slowing down, being present in the moment and fully engaging in what we are doing. Stitching mindfully, focusing on the thread colours and rhythm of the stitches, is a wonderful way to do this. I find it helps me to switch off, to unwind and it brings me joy. I’ve designed my kits so you can enjoy it too.
